Achievement:
In 2007-2008, Saint Louis School will be celebrating its 80th anniversary and in order to mark the occasion, a number of activities will be organized. After the unveiling ceremony of the sculpture “Vase of Champion” was held on 3rd September, 07, the coming ceremonious event is Walkathon.
Our Salesian Society has been serving the youth of Hong Kong by practicing the principles of the preventive system advocated by Saint John Bosco. Over the years, the school has nurtured cohorts of decent and upright graduates, many of whom have entered the professions to serve the community.
Saint Louis School not only follows the traditional curriculum but has also put in a lot of extra effort to enhance the quality of education. We have hired NETs to hone the drama skills of students. To promote Chinese culture, we have an orchestral expert to coach students on how to play traditional Chinese music. A football coach and a sports trainer (running) have been hired to raise the physical fitness level of students. Moreover, in order to raise the effectiveness of teaching and learning, the school has set up a Multi-Media Learning Centre and each classroom is equipped with a computer and a projector. However, the above provisions require extensive funding for continuation. In the coming three years, the school needs about $1,500,000 to run the above services. Thus we urgently need your generous donation to support the school.
