“Best Work Awards” for the Ancient Mathematics Heritage Competition

 

This program was a special collaboration between the Math and Chinese panels. Students were challenged to solve math problems written in ancient Chinese. This helped them appreciate classical Chinese literature and China’s role in the history of mathematics.

 

These five students have shown outstanding skill in understanding the ancient text, solving the math and presenting their workings well. They are being recognized for their excellent work.
