Découverte de la Beauté Française Tramcar Design Competition 「法」現美麗電車設訂比賽

In celebration of French creativity and cultural exchange, the Alliance Française de Hong Kong (AFHK) and Tramplus, a sister company of Hong Kong Tramways, launched the Tram Design Competition, inviting secondary school students to transform Hong Kong’s iconic trams into moving canvases inspired by French aesthetics.

 

We are proud to announce that Leung Lik Hang and Cheung Yat Long Rooney, representing our school, were selected as Top 40 Finalists for their originality and artistic insight. Their designs, themed “Découverte de la Beauté Française” (Discovering French Beauty), beautifully captured elements of French culture, art, fashion, and innovation. 

 

As finalists, they were invited to participate in AFHK’s French Taster Program on August 14, gaining immersive exposure to the French language and culture. This initiative aligns with AFHK’s mission to promote French learning in Hong Kong, especially as the DELF Junior exam becomes the official assessment for French under HKDSE Category C subjects starting in 2025. 

 

We congratulate our students on this achievement and celebrate their role in fostering cultural exchange between Hong Kong and France through creativity and design.
