PolyU CPCE Lantau Preservation Project Photography Competition

On 18 April 2026, the PolyU West Kowloon Campus hosted the award ceremony for the Photography Competition under the “Educational Engagement Project on Coastal Defense Facilities of Ming and Qing Dynasties in Lantau Island”, organised by the Division of Social Sciences, Humanities and Design of PolyU CPCE with support from the Lantau Conservation Fund. The competition invited participants to capture Lantau’s coastal defense relics through their lenses. From the Tung Chung Battery to the Battalion City and the surrounding landscapes, contestants offered striking perspectives that intertwined past and present, illuminating the cultural and historical importance of the Ming–Qing coastal defense system. We extend our warmest congratulations to OR Pok Yin (3A) for winning the Championship.
